Simply load up the Jamworks app at the start of your lecture and select Join Session to start recording.
The app will automatically record and transcribe the full lecture video.
But that’s not all. To help save you time when it comes to revision, Jamworks allows you to highlight the most important bits of the lecture and save them as bite-sized clips.
There are 3 ways to create a clip:
Highlight
Press the big circular Highlight button in the middle to start capturing a clip. The clip will continue recording until you press the Highlight button again to stop.
Trackback
Press the circular Trackback button on the left to create a clip starting 15 seconds before you pressed the button, perfect for when you realise something is important after your lecturer has already started explaining it.
You can hit Trackback as many times as you like to jump back in 15-second increments. The clip will continue recording until you press the Highlight button to stop.
Point of Interest
Press the circular Point of Interest (POI) button on the right to capture a 10-second screengrab. Great for snapping lecture slides and other useful visual content.
